Australian Desert Limes

Australian Desert Limes is a commercial arm of the Douglas family from Roma in western Queensland who produce this fruit in their extensive trickle-irrigated plantation and also market grafted seedlings. The exceptional flavour of the native desert lime is the basis for a range of distinctive products such as conserves, cordial, puree, paste and food ingredients that are available widely in Australia and exported to Europe and New Zealand.

Ni Ni Well

Ni Ni Well grows quandongs and quandong seedlings. We supply vacuum packed frozen and dried quandong fruit to restaurants, processors and condiment manufacturers. We supply seedlings to native nurseries. Our orchard was planted in 1996 and is located in the Wimmera region of Victoria north of Nhill.

Muntries: we also have a trial plantation of muntries which we hope will start producing by 2010.

Woolgoola Rainforest Products

Woolgoolga Rainforest Products are growers and suppliers of Syzygium luehmannii, Aniseed myrtle, Lemon Aspen, Small-leaf Tamarind, Rosella and Davidson Plum native fruits and oils, with no chemical pesticides or fertilisers used in production.

Syzygium luehmannii is their speciality and is available all-year round as frozen product packed in 10kg cartons and can be supplied in large quantities of quality produce. Aniseed myrtle oil is also available all year round. Other produce is available in season.

Desert Garden Produce (DGP)

The business is located near Rainbow Valley, Central Australia (Northern Territory) and was established in 2002. The business is wholly Aboriginal owned by Desert Garden Produce Aboriginal Corporation.
The business has spent the last six years as a research centre, studying every concept in the development of Solanum central, the wild bush tomato / Desert Raisin as a top quality commercial spice. Due to the amazing success of the research, which is attributed to cultural knowledge, scientific horticultural studies and a huge long-term commitment, this business is half-way through a 12 ha expansion program. By 2010 Desert Garden Produce will be the largest producer of desert raisins and bush tomatoes in the world. DGP is marketing to all the eastern and southern states. Scientific studies have proven that fresh harvesting and sun drying of this product is producing one of the most sought after spices in Australia and Desert Produce is leading the way.
