Russell Glover is a partner in Woolgoolga Rainforest Products, a business that specialises in the commercial production of Riberries, Aniseed myrtle, Lemon Aspen, Davidson Plums and Native Tamarind on the north coast of NSW. The business has been established for seven years and was set up to provide year-round reliable supply of Australian native produce. He owns and manages Glovers Tubes that grows native tubestock, particularly fruit species and aims to select and breed better commercial varieties.

Rus is a Director of Galeru Pty Ltd, a Company of four growers from northern NSW and south-east Qld that use the Value chain system to market their products, mainly Syzygium species.

Rus is also the Australian Government Caring for our Country Facilitator, Sustainable Farming Practices for NSW, working as part of the Australian Government Land and Coasts Division.

From a farming and horticultural background, Rus is passionate about the growing and the use of native foods and developing a clean and green production system to supply a mainstream native food industry. This requires a whole of industry approach to developing an industry body that can build on the work already contributed to by many and provide representation for the different sectors involved and needed to keep the industry progressing.
